Props Needed for Alice in Wonderland

From the props and set crew of Alice in Wonderland:

Greetings from the production crew of Alice In Wonderland! We’re in the middle of finding props for our show, and appear to be short on some of these items. We have checked all throughout the past play/musical items and don’t currently have any of the following:

  • A vase (Could be any color or size)
  • Cardboard (We would like to have plain cardboard with minimal to no details on it)
  • A wooden hatrack
  • A checkered flag
  • A red handheld fan
  • Saucers, tea cups, teapots, etc— any pieces of a tea set, especially very colorful and/or plastic sets
  • Croquet set and extra mallets
  • A small sofa OR a rocking chair
  • A pocket watch

If you happen to have any of these things on hand and they are not too precious to you, we could really use them in order to keep costs down. Bringing these items in for the production would be a really big help to the cast and crew of Alice In Wonderland. For some of the items, we may want or need to alter them, so if it’s something you are okay with us keeping we’d be thrilled, but if it’s something you need back, please let us know so we can keep it in the condition you gave it to us in.

If you are interested in helping, the deadline to bring these items in would be in two weeks from now on the 22nd of March. These items will be returned back to you the 16th of May unless you are okay with us keeping them. (If you do permanently donate an item, you will get to see it on stage for years and years to come.)

Thank you so much,

SSLAPS (Sound, Set, Lights and Props)
