Bigelow Big Night Luau 2017 – Save the Date – May 20th

Mark your calendars now for Bigelow’s Big Night Luau 2017, our BIG festive evening of food and friends! This year’s event will be held on the evening of Saturday, May 20th at 7pm at the Commander’s Mansion at the Arsenal in Watertown.

We hope you will be able to join us at Bigelow Middle School’s annual fundraiser. Money raised from this event support many curriculum-enriching programs such as the Creative Arts and Sciences Program, scholarships for students to attend field trips and special events, classroom supplies, advanced training programs for teachers, the purchase of gym, performing arts and technology items.

If you would like to help make the Big Night a success, we are looking for donations for our silent auction. Tickets to sporting events, gift cards for services, restaurant gift certificates, vacation getaways, jewelry, artwork, a dinner or cocktail party, memberships etc. are all appreciated. Or you might want to sponsor a portion of the evening?   Click here to donate to the online auction or become a sponsor.

You can also help by soliciting local businesses for an auction donation.  Click here for a printable business solicitation letter and donation form.

If you have any questions or can volunteer please contact Beth Panella at beth.panella@comcast.net. Our next committee meeting is on March 27th at Beth Panella’s house, 5 Channing Road in Newton Center.

From the Underwood PTO:

This is the second year the Underwood PTO is organizing a FREE public camp fair, which raises over $7000 through fees paid by participating camps.  If at all possible, we are asking families to try to stop by for any portion of the fair and perhaps check out a few tables (if of interest, of course!).  Remember: Without the support of the community, the PTO will not be able to continue organizing this fair, which raises over $7,000 for our children!
Thank you!! Hope to see you there!
