Dear Bigelow Staff and Parents,

As a result of the announcement below by Superintendent Fleishman that all NPS evening and community events are cancelled in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we have cancelled all performances of “12th Night–The Musical” that were scheduled for this Thursday morning and evening, this Friday, and the two shows this Saturday.  Rehearsals will continue today and tomorrow; we hope to arrange a recording of the show as soon as possible for the community’s viewing.

We are in the process of assessing the impact of this decision on a multitude of upcoming school events and meetings, and will communicate more information about Bigelow specific cancellations as soon as possible.  This is a rapidly evolving situation, which we are monitoring and responding to daily.

I applaud the extraordinary effort that our students and staff have put into preparing for the musical production, and recognize the disappointment that this announcement will cause.  Our priority is always to keep the students safe and healthy, and at this point, we need to take this unusual measures in order to do so.
