JCC Day at Grossman

Spend an afternoon at JCC Grossman Camp experiencing the magic of camp with your family! Enjoy a range of activities including: waterfront (beach, swimming, boating, water trampoline, water slide, fishing and more), sports (gaga, basketball, and street hockey), arts and crafts, rock climbing wall and more. Everyone welcome.  No charge.

Cub Scouts

Does your rising first through fifth grade boy have an interest in hiking, astronomy, wood crafts, derby car racing, museums, camping on a battleship, or camping on a professional baseball field? For over 80 years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them embrace challenges and celebrate achievements.

Come to the end of the year barbecue and open house at the Auburndale Cove (on West Pine Street, Auburndale) on June 11th from 4:30 – 7:00 pm to learn more about the adventures that await your child through participation in Cub Scouts. Please RSVP to Russell Stein at cubmaster@cubscoutpack208.org so they have an accurate count of adults and children attending. Siblings are welcome to join in the festivities!

Run the Newton Highlands Village Day 5K on June 12th

The Village Day 5K is back! We encourage parents and children to start the morning off great by participating in a family-oriented, local Village Day 5K sponsored by Whole Foods Market. $30 per adult, $10 per child. Lace up for the Mason-Rice Alumni Fun Run on June 13th!

Please join in the first-ever Mason-Rice Alumni Fun run for all alumi/alumnae in middle school, high school, and college on. See Mr. Springer at his final official Fun Run, enjoy some slush, and cheer on your former Mason-Rice classmates if you don’t want to run.

Tell all your friends and former classmates to come join the fun! Non-runners and current students and families are also welcome!

6.00 pm: Middle school division (for former MR students who are now in middle school)
6:15 pm: High school division (for former MR Students who are now in high school)
6:30 pm: 18+

There will be a prize for the top male and female winner in each division.
