Newton Community Education Summer Programs

Newton Community Education offers conveniently located, week-long summer programs for every age group, pre-school through high school. This summer they are offering programs in art, theatre, science and technology, debate, and more. Family Yoga

Families can enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable experience together, stretching and strengthening their bodies, while focusing and calming their minds. The yoga practice helps develop calmness, self- control, compassion, resilience, and confidence.

The Music Man Junior presented by Watertown Children’s Theatre

Join a cast of K-9th graders including Newton’s own Rhea Beaupre, Lindsay Bialecki, Alexandra Danis, Samuel Danis, Eliza Hartnick, Nisha Jha, Elianna Kruskal, Amir LaGasse, Alison McPherson, Caleb McPherson, Henry McPherson, Sophia Murphy, Eva Pearlman, Nathan Persampieri, Laila Plaster, Jacob Resnick, and Liam Walsh as we transport ourselves to River City, Iowa to bring this timeless musical to life.

Filled with original, toe-tapping classics like 76 Trombones, Shipoopi, and Gary Indiana, there’s something for everyone to love in this family favorite,  The Music Man Junior.
