4 for the 4th Food Drive
11% of Newton school children take part in the reduced lunch program. With school not in session, the summer is a time of food insecurity for these children. Please bring 4 items to Kids Morning: Bar soap, canned corn, canned pineapple, cereals, ground coffee, jelly/jam, pasta, peanut butter and jelly, soap, toilet paper, tomato paste/sauce, toothpaste, tuna, vegetable oil.

Afternoon/Evening Events:
July 4th, Noon – 10:00 pm – Albemarle Field.
The fun continues with kiddie amusement rides, craft vendor booths, food vendor booths, face painting and other childrens’ activities.

There is free music and dancing all day: from 1:00 – 6:00 pm in the Gazebo, and 6:00 – 9:00 pm on the Main Stage. At 9:00 pm, don’t miss the grand finale…a fantastic fireworks display!
