TRICK OR TREAT AT HISTORIC NEWTON’S MUSEUMS
As you make the rounds with your children on Halloween night, please stop by the Jackson Homestead and Museum and the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds for an assortment of Halloween candy from many time periods and free museum admission tickets that may be used throughout the fall. Enjoy trick-or-treating at the historic homes that are part of the neighborhood. Admission: Free

DELTA-SILLY MUSIC
Bring the whole family to the Durant-Kenrick House to dance, sing, and play along with the Delta-Silly tunes of Jeremy Lyons. Jeremy plays folk ballads, railroad tunes, campfire songs, food songs, car songs, dancing songs and more on the banjo, guitar, harmonica, ukulele, kazoo, jaw harp, rhythm bones and more – some of the instruments featured in our November 18 Jug Band Giants concert. The music starts at 2:00 pm, but come as early as 1:00 pm to make your own instrument to play along with Jeremy!

Admission: $5 per person; free for Historic Newton members
