Dear Bigelow 8th grade parents and caregivers,

I hope this email finds you well! First, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Gabriela (Noa Layani’s Mom) and I am chairing the 8th grade end of year activities.

We have begun the process of planning events, although it is tricky because of restrictions still in place due to COVID-19. However, we are excited about the graduation and look forward to sharing information in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, I want to give you some general and preliminary information as we plan for the end of year activities.

It looks like graduation will be on Monday, June 21, with the hope it will take place outdoors. Mr. Harrison needs to confirm this so this is not set in stone. We are hoping to have a social event that night of graduation, so stay tuned for further information.

We will coordinate the sale of lawn signs and we are also working on the 8th grade class gift to the school.

We appreciate your patience as we know folks are hoping to make plans. Again, we will keep you informed of what we expect the 8th grade activities will be.

In the meantime, we are hoping that we can find parents and caregivers to help out with the planning so please contact me if are able to do so. After the past year, we are hoping to make this year’s 8th grade graduation a very special one!
