Yoga and Meditation for Children

Nurturing the Body, Mind, and Heart for ages 4-12. This class will offer children a fun filled yoga and meditation practice. At all levels this practice will invite children to experience their body in a joyful, safe, and positive way.

Children will develop a practice that engages the body through asana, movement through poses, balance, strength, and flexibility. Partner and group activities, movement, and games will encourage awareness of the body, cooperation and support for one another. Breath work, short meditations, and Savasana will invite children to relax and experience a sense of calm and connection. Confidence, self esteem, a strong mind/body connection, and a sense of freedom and joy are just a few of the many benefits of a yoga and meditation practice.

Tuesdays, beginning September 26th
Ages 4-6, 1:15 – 2:00 pm
