12th annual Bill’s 5K registration is open

Please join the 12th annual Bill’s 5K. This fun, family event benefits the Travis Roy Foundation. TRF provides equipment to people with spinal cord injuries to support their independence.

The 5K is on October 30th, 9:00 am at Mason Rice Elementary School following the Free spooky sprint for little kids at 8:30 am.

Registration for the 4th annual Newton Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 18th is open!

High School Singer Looking for Performance Experience?

“Newton Parents Behaving Badly”

The Newton Nomadic Theater’s uproarious production of the Tony award winning God of Carnage is set here in Newton. An 11 year old boy got his tooth knocked out by another boy at Mason-Rice playground. The four parents get together to sort it out and it all goes horribly wrong.

OMEGA Summit for High School students

The MIT AgeLab is recruiting high school students across New England for the OMEGA Summit. Students will learn about community-based intergenerational programming and brainstorm ideas for intergenerational exchange to prepare them to take on leadership roles in their school and community and to increase relationships between older adults and high school students.

Soccer/yoga program for girls
