On Tuesday May 7th, all are invited to join Mayor Setti D. Warren for the grand opening of the Veterans Center, a first-of-its-kind center dedicated to providing a variety of services for veterans.

This family-friendly, veterans appreciation event will feature numerous attractions, including appearances by former New England Patriot and three-time Super Bowl champion Joe Andruzzi, and Patriot DL Rob Ninkovich; a Hoops for our Troops basketball challenge, and the chance to play ball with legends from the Boston Celtics; an evening of comedy featuring comedians Steve Sweeney and Rob Steen; and food and beverages courtesy of Cabots Ice Cream, WholeFoods, Darryl’s Corner Bar and Kitchen and O’Hara’s.

The evening will be emceed by Matt Siegel of KISS 108′s Matty in the Morning.
