New! Memoir Writing Group, September 14th, 7:00 pm, third floor Rear Arc: The group is open to those interested in writing a memoir or autobiography. Meetings begin with time for writing followed by reading and sharing of work. Group members offer each other encouraging feedback. Teen Crafterhours, September 15th, 7:00 pm, second floor Teen Area: Meet on the third Tuesday of every month to make crafts and eat snacks. This month the group will make felted soap. Grades 6-12.

Girls Who Code Information Session, September 16th, 7:00 pm, Druker Auditorium: Want to learn to build an app, design a video game and change the world through code? Join us for an information session about Girls Who Code (GWC), a national nonprofit organization leading the movement to inspire, educate and equip girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st-century opportunities. You’ll learn what GWC is, what to expect for the year, how to register, when it begins and more! GWC is for girls in Grades 6-12. Register online.

Introduction to GNU Linux for Teens, September 16th, 7:00 pm, third floor Rear Arc: This program for grades 6-12 will give an overview of what GNU Linux offers to individual users and its general value to the public.

Spanish Bilingual Drop-in Story Time, September 17th, 3:30 pm: A special storytime with stories, songs and movement in Spanish and English for 3-5 year olds. Space is limited. Tickets will be available ½ hour before the program.

Minecraft Club, September 17th, 4:00 pm, second floor Computer Center: Come play Minecraft with your friends on the library’s server. Don’t have an account? No problem, use one of the library’s. The club usually meets the first and third Thursdays of every month. Grades 6-12. Register online.
