Materials that matter

The Innovation Institute’s At the Frontiers program for grades 8-12 will begin March 16th. This year’s focus is “Materials that Matter”. This year’s specialists are an all MIT & Harvard team of postdocs and advanced grad students from some of the hottest research lab’s in materials sciences and engineering–materials transforming how we will live and work.

Classes will consist of 11 weeks of discussions and labs with specialists who change as the topics do. Topics to include:

  • molecular structure of materials
  • materials and biomechanical signatures
  • “programmable matter”
