The Newton Community Service Center (NCSC) is looking for volunteers to serve in the role of Receptionist/Greeter.

As the first person visitors will see as they enter the agency, the receptionist/greet will help create a welcoming and secure atmosphere at NCSC.  Friendly yet professional, the greeter will help ensure that people entering the building find their way to appointments and do not enter child care areas.  Minimum requirement:  6 weekday hours per week.

NCSC strengthens families and the community in Newton, Waltham and surrounding areas by providing programs that support healthy child development, enable parents to balance work and family life, promote effective parenting, and encourage volunteerism.  The agency actively engages a racially, economically and culturally diverse population.
