The Stars Align – A Music for Food Benefit Concert

The stars align in Newton as Boston’s top musicians come together for a fabulous program of Bartok and Ravel Duos, and Brahms G minor Piano Quartet. Proceeds to support Newton’s four food pantries with the help of Music for Food, an organization founded by Grammy award winning violist, Kim Kashkashian.

MFF sets forth a model applicable in every community to raise resources and awareness in the fight against hunger and food insecurity. Now in its 5th year, Music for Food has created over 150,000 meals from the efforts of 75 international artists and ensembles.
