NMF is a non-profit group made up of a community of moms (stay-at-home and working part- or full- time) with kids of all ages in Newton and surrounding towns. They sponsor activities where members can make connections beyond their school communities. The flagship event is a monthly Mothers’ Night Out (MNO): wine, dinner and fabulous speakers, this year’s series includes talks with National Security Expert Juliette Kayyem, sports psychologist Richard Ginsberg, and Family Dinner Project co-founder Anne Fishel. NMF also hosts a Book Club, Salon discussion group, Be Active fitness group and children’s parties.

Additional outings and special events include co-ed theme parties for grown-ups (Oktoberfest, Holiday, Wine & Cheese Tasting), a progressive dinner, theatre nights, and more. Check them out at newtonmoms.com, on Facebook (Newton Mothers’ Forum), or contact us at newtonmothers@gmail.com for more information. Annual dues are $185, which covers the cost of the seven-month speaker series with dinner, all parties and clubs.

Come check it out at the first MNO on October 2nd, 7:00 – 9:00 pm with Juliette Kayyem, Living in the Age of Terrorism: A Conversation with a National Security Expert – for just $30. That amount is applied toward your annual dues if you decide to join within 30 days.
