After the excitement and interest caused by the recent Russian Festival at the Newton Cultural Center, the Mayor’s Office for Cultural Affairs is planning an Indian Festival in November. If you are interested in participating in the planning stages and sharing any ideas, we would love your input. We would also love to hear ideas you may have about other Festivals that we could hold at the Newton Cultural Center. The Festival could feature music, dance, fashion, history, art, crafts and anything that would celebrate a culture and share it with the community. The next planning meeting for the Indian Festival is June 7, 10:00am at the Newton Cultural Center, 225 Nevada Street.
